Magic Carpet Round the World (Closed 1984)

  •  "Magic Carpet ‘Round the World" was a Circle Vision 360 film shown at the Tomorrowland Circle Vision Theatre in the Magic Kingdom from March of 1974 until March of the following year, and again from September 1979 until September 14, 1984, when it was replaced in 1994 by "American Journeys." More than 37 hours of film shot in over 20 nations around the world were edited into a panoramic, 21-minute virtual journey.
  • The Tomorrowland Circle Vision Theater has been home to a number of different films over the years. Since its opening in November, 1971, the Circle Vision films that have played there include America the Beautiful (during two separate times), Magic Carpet ‘Round the World (also during two separate times), American Journeys, and the Transportarium (which was later renamed The Timekeeper).
