As heard on The WDW Radio Show, show #94, November 23, 2008.
Many of you have emailed me asking when the annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade taping will be, and as you probably know, it won’t be on Christmas Day. It appears as though the parade will be taped over two days – December 5 and 6, 2008 with performances on one day in front of Cinderella Castle and the parade down Main Street USA on the other. Previous years you have been required to have a special ticket to be on Main Street for the taping. Apparently, this year anyone visiting can watch the taping on either or both days. But be advised that unlike a typical daily parade, because this is taped for broadcast, it does not take place as a single run through. Instead, it will often stop, start, reset, multiple times over the course of a few hours. It is a unique experience, a chance go see Regis and Kelly somewhat close up, and of course, an opportunity for you and your family to be captured by a camera and seen on TV.
