A few weeks ago, we explored Tonga Toast in detail. Tonga Toast is a fantastic breakfast… if you enjoy sweet, sugary breakfast items. But what if you’re the kind of person that would rather have a sausage biscuit than a glazed donut first thing in the morning? Don’t worry, Kona Cafe has plenty of savory menu items available as well. Here is one option that I enjoyed recently, and look forward to ordering again:

Kona Cafe Samoan

This is The Samoan. The menu describes it as ‘Poached Eggs with Hollandaise served over Smoked Pulled Pork Hash,’ and it’s topped off with watercress greens.

Have you tried The Samoan? What is your opinion? Comment below!

OK. So now Anne and I will be splitting this and Tonga toast in December. That looks SO good.

This is one of my new fave things in the World – I extolled it’s virtues here: http://eatingaroundwdw.wordpress.com/2010/05/02/more-wdw-weekend-eats%E2%80%A6/

As a person that doesn’t care for sweets in general, that looks fantastic!

If only I could get a room at the Poly for my next visit!
