The charm and romance of a Victorian summerhouse — steps away from flagship Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa — is the storybook setting for couples to pledge their love at Walt Disney World Resort.
Built on an exclusive island surrounded by Seven Seas Lagoon, the elegant pavilion offers the quintessential fairy tale setting for the perfect union. Swaying palm trees and lush landscapes envelop the solarium, which offers a picturesque backdrop of Cinderella Castle. Located south of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the non-denominational wedding pavilion can accommodate an intimate gathering of two to the grandest ball.
Traditionally recognized as a top-ranked wedding and honeymoon destination, Walt Disney World Resort is now a wedding destination with approximately 1,600 couples tying the knot each year. Beyond Disney’s Wedding Pavilion, nuptials at Walt Disney World Resort also take place in outdoor garden settings, gazebos and courtyards, as well as indoor resort locations. All told, more than 35,000 couples have married at Walt Disney World Resort.
“The pavilion gives couples an elegant indoor setting with the romance of Cinderella Castle visible in the distance,” said George Aguel, vice president resort sales, planning and development, Walt Disney Attractions.
Franck’s — a re-creation of Franck’s studio from the hit Touchstone movie “Father of the Bride” — showcases all of Disney’s wedding offerings. The planning studio is elegantly styled with French provincial furniture and antique portraits in gilt. Classical music plays quietly in the background. Franck’s has Disney wedding experts who custom-design each event. Brides-to-be can select all the elements that comprise a storybook wedding: music, entertainment, photography, candelabras, centerpieces, sample specialty linens, fresh floral arrangements, world-class cuisine, cakes and guest books.
The pavilion also provides planning rooms and private dressing rooms for the bridal party. Wedding-related merchandise is available for purchase a short stroll away at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
A variety of fantasy receptions can be planned at one of Disney’s luxurious resorts — Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s BoardWalk, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. The sky is the limit with themes from an Animal Kingdom Safari reception to an ultimate Cinderella ball where the bride arrives in Cinderella’s glass carriage drawn by white ponies.
Fun-filled memories await couples and their guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In the evening, couples can choose from exciting dinner shows and romantic candlelit dinners or a night of fun at Downtown Disney. Family members also can enjoy the excitement of staying at a Walt Disney World hotel with specially priced accommodations.

This was great. Disney does do weddings perfectly. I was just married there last September (1 year anniversary is coming up). I think another visit maybe in my near future.
Wow! Have the Disney Weddings changed since my husband and I were married in 1994 at the Yacht Club gazebo! The Wedding Pavillion wasn’t built yet and there was no Francks but our intimate wedding was a lot of fun!! The wedding planners were fantastic! I did it all over the phone and our day went off perfectly. I didn’t even know there was a “situation” until after the ceremony. The minister didn’t have the copy of our ceremony so a CM drove our best man in a golf cart over to the Beach club side and got a copy that I had brought with me (luckily). Even our photographer had to leave us for a while he saved another wedding where the photographer never showed. He came rushing back to us just in time for dessert and finished our pictures. I would reccomend a Disney wedding to anyone! We have two girls and I hope one day I can see them walk down the aisle at the wedding pavillion or over at the Poly!!!
Donna
i love the videos lou keep up the great work
and watchin that makes me want a wdw wedding.. maybe on our 10 yr anniversary or something
Hi my wife Lianne and i had our intimate wedding at disney world we got engaged there a little over a year before and our daughter had Eleni had her first birthday at the world on our next visit. The wedding planners were fantastic we are from the uk so the whole thing was organised over the phone. On the day of our wedding it poured with rain we were due to get married over at the poly. my wife to be was staying at wilderness lodge with her family and me with my family over at pop century, we both phoned the planners so many times to find out what is going to happen if the rain kept up. They were so great and told us not to worry, i was in such a panic even more so when the limo drove past the poly and pulled up at the wedding pavilion. When the wedding planner came out to meet me she was so nice our wedding had been moved to the pavilion what a bonus. It was the best day of our lives so far. The weather cleared up during the ceremony and we were able to have our photos taken in the grounds of the pavillion. Disney handled almost everything they prvided the lovely setting the violin player for the music the photographer the limos the cake (chocolate cake with white chocolate frosting the wife and i are chocoholics) they even provided wheelchair accessable transport at no extra cost for my wifes brother and sister. All of the wedding and our 2 week stay at wilderness lodge cost less than a quater of what it would have cost back here in the uk. I recomend a disney wedding to everyone, we only had 8 guests at our wedding but being at disney made it for us.
Great video, I now have a tear in my eye! Wonder if I play the video whilst my partner is sleeping that he’ll get the message and want to marry me in WDW!!!!!
