This is my first Expo was it was my first real eye opening event. Having never gone to anything of this magnitude before, I was totally floored by everything Disney put out there to offer us as fans. Still, despite the presentations, previews of things to come, limited edition merchandise and the archives collection, my favorite will always be the Collector’s Forum. Not just because that’s where the MEI-MouseFan Travel/WDW Radio booth was, but because of all the other Disney fan booths as well. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, there were tons of contests, free gifts to people and I got to meet alot of people. It was truly memorable from start to finish but I have to say that my favorite memory from the Expo was being able to ride one of my favorite rides, the Haunted Mansion with my idol and role model, Lou Mongello. If I suddenly croaked tonight, I know I would have died fulfilled. I can’t wait for the next Expo now!!

Well, kind of missed the boat on the 2011 D23 Expo. Now that I’m in the know, I’ll be sure to listen/watch in, and hopefully make it out there one of these days. Sounds like an incredible experience. Speaking of boxes and pallets, I have to work the New York Toy Fair next week. Set up is Thursday/Friday. Thanks again for another fantastic show, Lou and guests!!!

Kind of surprised no-one has done a documentary featuring the D23 Expo. It seems to captures a lot of the Disney fanaticism in one place…and provides a great place to highlight it! 393 more days until D23 2017 edition.
