The two that i thought of that you missed was DINOSAUR and, yes, The Si-Fi Diner over at DHS.

DINOSAUR obviously is more scary than "spooky" i guess you might say for the use of darkness and those almost life-like dino animatronics. The dino eating the pther one spookes me out everytime

I also say the Si-Fi Diner mos=tly because of the atmosphere and the film loop going through. The 50's era horror movies are a bit creepy at times, and the dark sky in the stars also ties into the "spooky" theme

By far,I think one of the scarry animatronics is the woman in the movie theater ticket booth on Spaceship Earth. She always seems to be watching you. Her eyes are black as cole, almost inhuman. Your car passes by her and she just stares. Just when you think you have escaped her gaze she turns over her shoulder for one last glance. I had my son keep his eyes on her last time we road it together. He agrees, Super Creepy.

I find many things in the Magic Kingdom to be "spooky" because the stories or historical aspects about them, but one phenomenon I find spooky and thrilling is riding Space Mountain [or the TTA through Space Mountain] when the LIGHTS ARE ON!
I decided today that I've been listening far too to not have commented on the site yet so I'm starting today. I loved the "spooky places" so I was inspired. I've got to go with one that you all mentioned -- the scene in Pirates where the wind is blowing and a storm is hovering overhead, the creepy abandoned beach, the skeleton, the anticipation of the fall. Ahh, wish I was there.
