1. I laughed when I read this and couldn't wait to comment on it in the blog. Who could that podcaster be? I just don't know.

2. I learned that Cinderellas horse dosn't really exist from Jim Korkis in the wdw radio podcast about the carosel.

3. I think that circarama and other such films are probably outdated, but are still fun to watch.

5. I have never been to Disneyland, but would love to see the miniatures.

6. Wow! aging the copper. All the great ways imagineers have made attractions amazing, this definately is one of the greats.

7. I did not know that there was also a Cinderella castle in DL.

8. I think of Hall of Presidents(one of my favorite attraction) and Soarin with the smell o vision.

10. The only other name I can think of fro the castle would be Snow Whites castle, since that was the original princess.

12. I did not realize that the castle was named sleeping beauty castle four years before the movie came out. I'm sure it didn't hurt the movie and kept synergy between what was going on in the park and in the movies.

Book Club Questions
2. Cinderella herself told me about her horse! I learned that this was a myth when I listened to Jim Korkis talk about the carrousel on the wdw radio podcast.

3. I really enjoy the circle vision shows. I’m sure the technology is relatively archaic compared to today’s standards, but having the movie wrap around you is so unique!

4. Yes!! I can’t believe the “attraction” was allowed to open in that condition.

5. I absolutely adore the miniatures of Storybook Land. One of the main reasons I look over my Disneyland photo album is to look at my Storybook Land pictures! I wish the attraction was slower so I could take my time exploring the intricate details of the miniature houses.

6. I had to read that paragraph a few times to make sure I read it correctly!!! I wonder if anyone ever saw him “aging the copper”!

7. I had no idea both castles coexisted in Disneyland.

8. Hall of Presidents, American Adventure, Horizons, Soarin’.

9. Everything within the park is a testament to the rights and freedoms we Americans’ have.

10. I can’t really imagine Sleeping Beauty’s castle being named anything different, especially not Robin Hood’s castle!! Bleh!

11. I’ve always been fascinated by the Pepper’s Ghost illusion and have done research on the effect so I have always paid close attention to it. The “burning fire” has always just been cool.

12. I have read before that Sleeping Beauty’s Castle was named for her long before the movie came out. I don’t think that this type of synergy really helped promote the movie since at the time there was no other type of characters to link the castle to the animated movie.
