Disney Fantasy Review and Discussion

Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #268 for the week of April 1, 2012.

The Disney Fantasy, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise line fleet, sailed on her maiden voyage on March 31, 2012, but I had an opportunity to cruise aboard this amazing ship just a few days ago. So this week, I’m going to bring you a detailed look at and review of the Disney Fantasy. We’ll look specifically at what sets her apart from her sister ship the Disney Dream, including some changes, enhancements, and additions. We’ll explore everything from dining to technology to family entertainment, adult areas and much more.

I’ll have the answer and winner for last week’s Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new one for your chance to win a Disney prize package.

I’ll announce the details for our next WDW Radio Meet of the Month in Walt Disney World, hint to why you should tune in next week, and then play more of your voicemails at the end of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.

Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in next week!

that was my favorite show. but witch ship do you like more lou, the dream or the fantasy? i went on back to back crusis on the dream when it opned so that will always be my favorite. i rode the aquaduck a million times. thats not the best water coaster ever but its the 1st on a cruse ship. but it is amazing when it gose off the ship and through the edge. i think the midship dective agency was funn. but sorcers of the magic kingdom is better because you can lose. i think the dream is the 1st of many of its kind and i hope that disney makes more. yours truly nicholas:)

I think I would book a cruise just to try out the popcorn soup. The concept really intrigues me.

  3. Cynthia Sanders Hood says:

I want to try the popcorn soup!

  4. michelle says:

well theres a lot, the songs, the characters, the food but best of all, the magical moments that wait for you when you walk in.the moments that you will never forget not just because you have the pictures but because its really hard to get out of you mind your moments, i mean who would want to get that memory of, because its the expirience of a life time.

  5. Jill says:

I know that our family is VERY much looking forward to hanging over the side of the boat sliding down the Aquaduck!! But there is not really anything we aren’t looking forward to on the Fantasy! It all sounds super exciting- from the food, to the island, to the shows, to the soaps in the room! 🙂

  6. Susan says:

    Want Popcorn soup!!!!!! 🙂

  7. Chuck Zitta says:

Sounds like Beci needs to work on her set-up skills. LOL!!! The popcorn soup is something we really need to check out. What a topic for conversation. And the animated dinner party (or whatever it’s called), where you draw a character, then Disney brings it to life – sounds amazing! Overall, a Disney Fantasy cruise sounds like a wonderful experience. One that our family needs to experience; at least once. Or twice. Or…

Thanks again for another fabulous show, Lou and Beci!!!
