Sheila – you hit it right on the head! How about Disney’s Carolwood Resort? Tie in Walt’s backyard train, Casey Jr., the trains around the MK. In Strasburg, PA there is the Red Caboose Motel with rooms made out of old cabooses. Central area is parent’s room with double bed, one end is 4 bunks like in real caboose and other end is bathroom. Just think of the themeing that could be done. Nice idea!

The Hollywood Adventures sounds great. However I’m old school and would like to see something honoring Mr. Disney and his many loves, including trains.

I would vote for a Hollywood Adventures resort similar to what is included in the HS park. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc.

I can’t really explain how it would work in real life, but I read a blog the other day that had an interesting idea. It would be really cool if there was some way to have a Swiss Family Robinson resort. I know the Tree Houses exist, but they’re not quite what I’d have in mind. This would be something that really gave you the feel of living in the tree, even though it’s a modern hotel.

Other ideas would include taking a few of the top-of-the-line suites in the Disneyland Hotel and play those themes out in a full hotel, especially Pirates and Big Thunder Mountain. I’ve also been surprised that Disney has never built a castle-themed hotel of any kind so kids can be knights and princesses the whole stay.

Of course, the Persian, Asian and Venetian would be super-cool to see come to fruition as well.

I would choose to have a themed resort after Walt Disney history and old films and old cartoons. It would be a way to tie in the old and the new.

i would choose the lion king because its a classical and the the movie is so powerful that everybody likes till this day and i will never forget it never in my life
