Great story Em, and pretty nearly word for word what my wife and I experience as Australians at the MVMCP. We have been to three of them now, 2006, 2008 and 2011 and loved each and every one of them.

While having been at various times of the year in the years preceding 2006, we decided after our 2006 trip that all of our future trips where possible would be at Christmas time – just a fantastic time of year to be at WDW.

I know that having one’s children there will make the night special in it’s own way, but there will always be something to be said once we take our own kids there to be able to look back and remember the romantic times we had together attending this magical event when it was just the two of us.

Great post Emma – Matt and I are doing our first MVMCP in November this year and can’t wait – I already have my Mickey santa hat packed and ready to go!

Omg I got goosebumps reading this! Thank you for sharing! I will be going to WDW for the first time during the holidays and will e attending the party! Now I’m more excited than ever! I’m glad I am going at age 20 rather than being younger. I attended MNSSHP in 2010 and loved it do much! That I couldn’t wait to attend MVMCP!! The one thing I am looking forward to is the castle!! The lights shimmering and glowing! And the snow falling on main street. I am from Ohio and I hope it is cold enough to wear a Disney hat or scarf because Christmas for me is snow and cold! I can’t wait!!
