Editor’s Note: Please welcome to the blog team someone who is certainly NOT a stranger to the WDW Radio Family: Lindsay Diamond, our very own MickeyWaffle! Lindsay has contributed to the blog several times, but is now joining us with a regular column with a very unique perspective–one we are sure you will enjoy. Welcome, Lindsay!!
Lindsay Diamond’s greatest passion is writing. Her ultimate goal is to become a Show Writer for Walt Disney Imagineering or write scripts for Disney Animation Studios / Pixar. Lindsay also hopes to one day win an Oscar for best screenplay. She is the creator of her personal blog, “it’s a small blog after all,” writes for WDW Fan Zone, and has guest blogged for WDW Radio.
When she’s not writing, Lindsay can be found running with her two running teams, Sole Sisters and WDW Radio Running Team. She is also a lover of languages and hopes to learn German, French, and Chinese. Lindsay and her best friends started their own business, Enchanted Rose Entertainment, that provides authentic character entertainment in her community for birthday parties, public events, and charity organizations. She performs, writes skits, answers emails, and assists with the Facebook page among other duties.
Writing for WDW Radio was a dream of hers for years, and Lou Mongello is one of her biggest inspirations. She looks forward to beginning her new series that gives advice for the Walt Disney World Resort based on interests. In each article, Lindsay will brainstorm Disney vacations and will choose attractions, restaurants, and resorts based on an interest, such as music, movies, or sports.
Here are some of Lindsay’s favorite Disney things:
- Favorite Disney theme park: Disneyland
- Favorite Disney themed “land”: Buena Vista Street
- Favorite Disney attraction: “it’s a small world”
- Favorite Disney movie: Pocahontas
- Favorite Disney restaurant: Artist Point
- Favorite Disney resorts: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Port Orleans, & Art of Animation
