WDW Radio Charity Auction 2012: Preview #1

Last year, in our inaugural online Dream Team Project charity auction, the WDW Radio family came together and raised over $17,000.00 for the Make-A Wish-Foundation of America.  It was an inspiring event, and we were all so grateful for the amazing support of the WDW Radio family.

This year, the WDW Radio Charity Auction promises the return of some favorite auction lots from last year (can anybody say WDW Radio co-host??) as well as some exciting and NEW auction lots.

The ONLINE auction will begin Friday evening September 28 and conclude Sunday evening September 30.  All information will be posted online at WDWRadio.com

This year’s auction would never have been possible without the amazing generosity of countless selfless individuals and companies who share our vision of making dreams come true for children with life threatening illnesses.  In our first preview posts, we will be paying tribute to some of those people!

Today’s preview is for two separate works of art created by the incredibly talented Greg McCullough.  Greg has been gracious enough to donate two numbered, artist-proof canvas paintings to our auction.  The first features Ariel, and the second is series of images of our friend, Kermit the Frog.

We are amazed and humbled that Greg was willing to donate these amazing works of Disney art to us.  You will be able to make a bid on either of these starting next Friday evening.  See lot #23 and #24.

To learn more about Greg and his work, please revisit our feature on Greg here, which was posted  last fall or visit his website, http://www.artifx.com/DS/DS00a.html

And stay tuned tomorrow, when we will preview a ONE OF A KIND auction lot, which is sure to make any fan of Walt Disney excited!
