On Nov. 4, 2012, Lou Mongello and nearly 500 members of the WDW Radio Disney podcast family set sail aboard the Disney Dream for 4 days of magic and memories.

Our special guest was Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman of the Sherman Brothers, who composed music for Disney films and attractions such as Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Winnie the Pooh, The Aristocats, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Enchanted Tiki Room, it’s a small world, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, Journey Into Imagination and countess others. He shared his stories and music with us, and joined us to Nassau and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.

No thank you Lou and Beci and everyone else for putting together such an amazing trip. I still can’t believe we got to be part of it and am really hoping that we’ll be on the Fantasy next year.

Thank you so much for putting this cruise together. It was a blast! I met a ton of new people and left with a lot of friends. Of course, seeing Richard Sherman sing some of his songs was the icing on the cake!It was a pleasure being on board, and I definitely walked away with priceless memories (That may or may not include “Gangnam Style”) 🙂

Can’t thank you and Beci enough for all your hard work putting this cruise together. Paige and I had a blast. So grateful to those who shared memories of Nolan with us. Will never forget our ride on the Aquaduck and the parasailing @ Castaway Cey! We were both thrilled with the things we won. Keepsakes that will be forever cherished.
