My grandma used to take to Disney On Ice every year. My mom never let me watch Disney movies fearing I'd learn about the parks and beg to go so DOI was my only taste of Disney all year. I looked forward to that day more than Christmas. I'd wake up super early and wait almost impatiently until my grandma picked my up to go get on the bus (we went as part of a bus tour company)I loved the stories the tour guide would tell and the games we'd play and then came the magical moment of the show itself. I was always on the edge of my seat. I also loved intermission and the Zamboni machine lol. I always made sure my grandma bought me a program (which I still have every single one) after that we'd stop at a local mall for dinner and a quick shopping trip before driving back home.

Sadly Disney stopped doing DOI for a while and when they restarted the bus tour company didn't go. Last march I went back to DOI for the first time in 15 years. This time it was me and my 8 year old niece. Instantly I remembered why it was the most important day of the year for me. I plan on going to DOI every year again.
