Krissy – I agree on watching the times you choose to eat. I prefer to eat an early lunch and a late dinner in order to avoid the crowds at the quick service locations. But it can definitely pay off to have a reserved time for a full service table meal rather than waiting almost as long to order a quick service meal and find a table/eat at the busiest times of the day.

Angie – I didn’t know that about the Lighthouse Sandwich, I’ll have to try it some time!

yensidsailetlaw – That’s a great idea! I’ll definitely do a post on that in the future! What is your favorite snack/cart in the Magic Kingdom?

Tony E – You got me hungry thinking about the cinnamon rolls from the Main Street Bakery!I love loading up my burgers at Pecos Bills too, but I have to confess that I don’t like pineapple so by default I don’t like Dole Whips! I think I may be the only Disney fan to not enjoy those!

Elaine – Columbia Harbor House is such a great option, I’m glad you enjoy it too!

I can’t pick just one quick service place as my MK favorite so I’ll mention one for each meal.

For breakfast nothing can beat a cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bakery (yes I do realize the cinnamon rolls are now at Gaston’s Tavern)

For lunch I’ll swing by Caysey’s Corner for a hot dog. The German in me loves to load it up with Sauerkraut on the fixins bar

For dinner I love a burger from Pecos Bill’s. I load it up with so many Fixins it looks more like a salad.

For a snack during the day I always stop by Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip or Dole Whip float.

I’m going to have to go with Columbia Harbor House being my favorite quick service location in all of the 4 WDW parks! I just love that vegan chili! I’m glad you like the lighthouse sandwich, did you know it’s easily vegan-izable? Just don’t get the slaw (the hummus is more than enough) and request the allergy-friendly bread!
I didn’t know about Cosmic Ray’s having a veggie sandwich since i always stick with CHH! Thanks for the heads up, Caitlin, I’ll have to try it out!

You are definitely right about tons of great CS options at MK! I think another important aspect about planning meals at WDW is what TIME you’re planning on dining – when I worked as a tour guide for Disney, we found that if guests planned on dining at ‘traditional’ times for lunch, sometimes it actually could be faster to enjoy a table service meal!
