I would say that Flame Tree BBQ is one of the best values, a half a chicken and ribs with 2 small sides is easy splitable between 2 people

Lou...stop giving away all the good spots!!!

Really though, a great deal that my wife and I found was at the ABC Commissary (which as we all know is not known for its quality). They have two salads there:
1) a Coucous, Quinoa and Arugula Salad and
2) an Asian Salad
Now, both are just ok by themselves, but if you add Salmon to these salads, they become great! Both salads with salmon are around $11 each and you get a big salad with a huge piece of fish. The two salads are quite different but both are very good and very large. Bon Appétit!

Rick -- yeah, we wanted to talk about Pecos Bill's, but there's so much we could have discussed that this show would have been over two hours!

You spend considerable time promoting the virtues of the Main Street Bakery, but alas it will be closed for me next visit. Further, we don't even know what the menu would be when it reopens with Starbucks.

Luckliy (not for my calorie intake) some of the menu items will be at Gaston's Tavern and Tomorrowland Terrace

One of my favourite eats in the Magic Kingdom is the self-serve taco salad bar at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn. Since you can load up on onions, lettuce, mushrooms, salsa and cheese it is a pretty good value for a hungry person at under $10. As well, if you time it correctly you can watch the parade go by while eating.
Also, I will concur with the program's mention of the pasta bar at the food court of Port Orleans Riverside. You can ask for the ingredients you like, watch it being prepared in flaming glory, it's tasty and reasonably priced.

I strongly disagree with your comparison of Tonga Toast from Kona vs. Capt. Cooks. The cheaper version at Cook's does NOT come with strawberry compote and it just doesn't taste the same without it. That is a major distinction. The last time Kona raised the price of Tonga Toast we asked why and was told the price went up because of the cost of the Strawberry compote as to the reason for the price increase. Consequently, that's comparing apples and oranges. I think you need to clarify for your listeners that sending someone to Capt Cooks to experience Tonga Toast means they miss the most important part of what TONGA TOAST really is!

BTW, the other hidden gem of Kona Cafe breakfast is The Samoan. Splitting Tonga and Samoan with another gives you the best breakfast in the world, both sweet and savory on the same plate!
