Of the many pastimes we enjoy during our stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, one of our favorites is finding a spot to rest, watch the world go by, and scope out things that might be photo-worthy. We call it “taking perch pics.” Sure it’s fun to wander the World and take photos! But sometimes, if you stop and observe, serendipity strikes and the opportunity for an intriguing photo may come to you.

During a quick lunch, a white ibis stops by for a visit at the Flame Tree Barbecue reflecting pool in the Animal Kingdom.
Characters in Flight is framed by a decorative, classic Mickey railing at Downtown Disney. The railing can be found near the outside seating area by Ghirardelli.
While enjoying a sunrise cup of hot coffee, Sorcerer Mickey conjures up some magic at the All Stars Movies Fantasia Pool.
In some of our future posts, we’ll share our favorite perches and the pics taken from those locations. Now it’s your turn! Where are your favorite perches?
