Okay, I promise this will be the final post about all of the new products that I found at the parks recently.  However, I saved the best for last…..and its geared only towards the ladies!!!

My closet is full of Disney tees, yes they are all in the “women’s” style, but I have often wanted something other than just a standard t-shirt from my favorite place on earth.  I was not disappointed this visit when I discovered how many new products they were carrying that looked very fashionable.

Minnie Sweater Jacket:1

This was probably the cutest jacket I have seen, style-wise, but I wasn’t taken with the Minnie image they used.  It appears that they were trying to incorporate the new “hip-minnie” and I just haven’t enjoyed how they have changed her look.  I think that this little jacket could have been perfect if they would have used a simple three-circle Mickey head on one of the sides of the jacket.

Price: $59.95

Age Group: Teens/Adults

Must Have: Loved the style, not the character

The summer style both this year and last summer has been all about the maxi dress.  Disney has added one to their shops and it is adorable.  The pattern does not should Disney from far away, but you will notice the Mickey heads all over the pattern if you look closely.  I would love to own this dress, but am always hesitant to buy them because I am quite short and these dresses seem to fit taller ladies better!  I might have to buy it and have it shortened.

Price: $49.95

Age Group: Teens/Adults

Must Have: I want it in my closet!

Throwback Blouse: 3

My husband still can’t figure out why I bought the shirt I did instead of this since I was so smitten with it, but I just can’t decide where I would wear this shirt to???  While I would normally wear a shirt like this one to work, I don’t think they would appreciate the writing on it or the graphics all over!  It is made of that gauzy, see-through material and is a shirt you would have to wear a tank under, but it is just super adorable.  I might have to think of places to wear this (I am open to any suggestion) and get it on my next trip.

Price: $52.95

Age Group: Teens/Adults

Must Have: Maybe

Minnie’s Description Tee:4

I was torn between two shirts and this was one of them.  It didn’t have any characters printed on it, but instead had phrases that described Minnie!  I can see people wearing this shirt and normal people having no idea what the shirt was describing.  Its a cute, but subtle way to honor a Disney icon!!

Price: ???

Age Group: Teens/Adults

Must Have: Minnie fans, absolutely!

Next blog post I will be back to reviewing more of the local-store products that I can find which have a Disney tie.  Please let me know if you have seen anything recently that you would like featured (I will give you a shout-out!) or if you think that might interest the readers.

I do need to add a PS that an upcoming blog will be dedicated to baby/infant Disney products as, a super exciting event will soon be taking place in my life, I will become an aunt any day now!!  Due to this newfound role, I have been frequenting the baby stores and have found a very wide market of products!  Let me know if you have any good products that you have seen or used.

Until next time……..keep shopping Disney-style!!

shopDisney is a bi-weekly blog that will focus on Disney merchandise and products sold in the parks, in Disney stores, and in other retail markets.  We will explore product reviews, affordability, and to whom the products are marketed.  Like any other good product review, we will conclude with a rating scale for several different key components: price, age group, and whether the product is a “must have.”
