I’m pleased to announce our Second Annual E-Ticket event… or should I say EventS!

Last year, we kicked off this new, annual event with An Evening at the American Adventurers Club. This sold out event included a private dinner and performance of The Preservation of the Secret Society of Historical American Adventures (the PSSHAA Club) in the American Adventure pavilion rotunda.

And this year, we’re going to go even bigger and better with a weekend-long series of events!

From October 4-6, 2013, WDW Radio will host a series of fun, unique events, and we’ll be kicking things off with an opportunity for you to truly be IN the movies!

  • Friday, October 4 – We will travel into the movies for an exclusive, private dinner behind the silver screen INSIDE The Great Movie Ride! We will travel through the most classic scenes in motion picture history… and meet some of the characters that star in them. We’ll dine in the Wild West  and then stroll through even more legendary movie scenes… and ,of course… don’t forget a very special dessert party. It will be an evening of excitement inside the magic of the movies! Tickets are extremely limited and will go on sale on Wednesday, July 24 at 12:00pm ET (see order form below)

  • Saturday, October 5 – Stay tuned for details about our Epcot International Food & Wine Festival event!
  • Sunday, October 6 – You’re invited to play a round with us in our inaugural WDW Radio Mini-Golf Tournament! We will have exclusive use of Disney’s Winter Summerland mini golf course for a golf tournament to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Teams of four will play for fun and a chance to compete for the coveted (well, maybe not “coveted”) trophy. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!

    Later on.

  2. Kathy Kelly says:

Devastated! My sister bought non-refundable tickets to Friday night’s MNSSHP for my birthday!! I will definitely see you all at the F&WF Event and for the Mini Golf Tourny!!

  3. Rob says:

@Kathy, have your sister call Disney. Sometimes they will let you swap the night of your MNSSHP or MVMCP!!

  4. Lisa Comerford says:

My husband says if he has to wear a tie he won’t go. Please tell me it’s not formal attire. Tidy jeans and a dress shirt would be great for him. Hoping I’ll manage to convince him to go. I would love to attend this event.

  5. Paul (shoemakers4) says:

We had first tried to reserve a MK Tour with Lou for that day and were very sad when he declined because he was busy. However, now we’re SUPER EXCITED for this chance to dine IN THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE!!! We’ll be even more excited if we can get 2 tickets!!

  6. Ken Hutchinson says:

Nooooooooooooo, I don’t land until late on the 4th!!!!!

  7. Bill Dixon says:

It says no tickets available. Are they all gone?

We apologize–the link is now active! You can find it now on the site–just refresh the link!

  10. Lisa Comerford says:

I just noticed the “every ticket purchased must have a unique attendee’s name attache to it” I ordered two tickets for hubby and I but it didn’t ask anywhere for his name for the second ticket. Will this be a problem?

I can’t wait and am so excited.

How limited is VERY limited? Are we talking 50, 500 or 5,000 people?

  11. Lara Thompson says:

Just got my ticket! Hope I get to sit with some fun people as I am attending by myself! Looking forward to it!
Finally – a WDWR event that is happening when I am at WDW!!

  13. Maureen Wahtera says:

Ken, change your flight. That’s what I’m doing. I was schedule to leave WDW on the 3rd. I just purchased my Etickets and going to change my flight. Very excited. Can’t wait.

  14. Maureen Wahtera says:

Lisa, Good question. I didn’t notice that it asked for individual name. I just purchased 2 tickets. Planning on give the other ticket to my son who is on the Disney College Program. Now, hopefully he can get the night off.

  15. Lisa Comerford says:

Maureen I received an email back saying it would not be a problem. Hope your son can get the night off.

  16. Belinda Harvey says:

So happy to have gotten our tickets a week ago! Does anyone know the dress code?

  17. Lou, wish I could attend. Strange thing is I’ve tried for years to be there when you are and it has never worked out even though I go to WDW a couple times a year on average. The one time I did make it was when you father grew gravely ill and you went back to New Jersey. This time we are arriving on 10/06 and we plan to go to Hollywood Studios as soon as we checked in that day. I really hope to try to hang around the great movie ride and perhaps to finally meet you.
