Adventure Into The World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy: Disney Tip #12

by Peyton Spear

TIPS LOGOOften times we go to Disney with a purpose whether we are celebrating an anniversary or just going with family for a vacation.

“Celebration recognition buttons” help share the special occasion with other guests and cast members to let them know what you are celebrating.

When checking into a hotel or visiting the Vacation Planning Booths, let the cast member know what you are celebrating while at Disney and your whole party can receive pin-on buttons. (They are free!)

Disney has 6 different buttons you can choose from:

-Happily Ever After

-1st Visit!

-Happy Birthday

-Happy Anniversary!

-Family Reunion

-I’m Celebrating!

While wearing your button throughout the parks or various locations on Disney property, you will be acknowledged and sent good wishes by cast members as they see what you are celebrating.

Be sure to let your waiter and resort know you are celebrating as well when making reservations because you may receive special treatment and surprises upon arrival!

What have you guys celebrated on your most recent visit to Disney? Did you wear the “Celebration recognition buttons” and if so, what were your interactions like with cast members?

Peyton is currently a student at the University of Mississippi majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in print. Growing up in Los Angeles and most recently moving to Atlanta, he has seen and experienced the best of both Disneyland and Disney World. Making his first visit to Disney World at the age of 5, he has never looked back as he entered the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
