TIPS LOGOOften times we go to Disney with a purpose whether we are celebrating an anniversary or just going with family for a vacation.

“Celebration recognition buttons” help share the special occasion with other guests and cast members to let them know what you are celebrating.

When checking into a hotel or visiting the Vacation Planning Booths, let the cast member know what you are celebrating while at Disney and your whole party can receive pin-on buttons. (They are free!)

Disney has 6 different buttons you can choose from:

-Happily Ever After

-1st Visit!

-Happy Birthday

-Happy Anniversary!

-Family Reunion

-I’m Celebrating!

While wearing your button throughout the parks or various locations on Disney property, you will be acknowledged and sent good wishes by cast members as they see what you are celebrating.

Be sure to let your waiter and resort know you are celebrating as well when making reservations because you may receive special treatment and surprises upon arrival!

What have you guys celebrated on your most recent visit to Disney? Did you wear the “Celebration recognition buttons” and if so, what were your interactions like with cast members?

I have yet to celebrate anything while at WDW so I haven’t had the honor of wearing a button yet, hopefully someday.

    Catcha later.

  2. Chris says:

On our honeymoon we wore the Happily Ever After buttons and mostly got a bunch of congratulations from Cast Members. The guy on Primeval Whirl, though, let us have the car to ourselves instead of sharing it which was great.

There’s always something to celebrate and the pins are a great way to add some excitement to whatever the occasion might be. Two of my favorite celebrations were my friend’s half birthday 😛 and, the best, “I’m Celebrating! GASTON”–they were handing these out during the opening week of New Fantasyland last year lol.
