TIPS LOGOby Peyton Spear

Disney may have specific closing times but that does not mean they want everyone to leave the parks for the day just yet…

They allow guests to have the opportunity to ride whatever they want up to the minute prior to closing time. Therefore, if the park closes at 11 p.m., you are able to get on a ride at 10:59 p.m. even if the line happens to be a 90-minute wait.

This is a great time to ride the “big rides” that are typically busy throughout the day. Chances are the lines will be shorter and you won’t be using up a lot time if you were to ride them during the day.MK at night

If you happen to be in the Magic Kingdom and finish your ride within an hour after closing time, you still have a chance to get some shopping in that you may have missed out on during the day!

In my opinion, there is nothing better than Disney at nighttime and this perk gives guests the opportunity to take advantage of the parks up to the last second.

How many of you have gotten on a ride right before closing time? What was your experience like?

I have been the last person to ride Haunted Mansion a few times (other than the cast member in the doom buggy behind me), and it is awesome! The Haunted Mansion at night adds to the spookiness, and knowing that I’m the last park guest to ride it that day makes it even cooler!
