Yesterday, we began a 3 part series of photos to show you some of the many sights at the Expo floor. Today we resume our tour with some more images of the pavilions and entertainment available at this epic Disney fan event.
In addition to an arena-screening, “Planes” had a great deal of attention at Expo. At this booth, you could see the array of products dedicated to this new Disney film.
Very popular with the younger set (though also with us adults!), was the Disney Interactive section of the show floor. Here one could try out all kinds of Disney video and gaming technologies. At the Disney Infinity section, you could try the game and earn a free Disney Infinity figure.
I loved watching this bright, fun section of the Consumer Products pavilion evolve. Here, you could join the Muppet wall and demonstrate your ability to draw the Muppets! Have no fear if you aren’t the next Jim Henson–there were fun and easy-to-use “how to’s” for drawing the Muppets that you could use as a guide (and take home to practice even more.)
Throughout the show floor, Disney artists were at work drawing and creating. In each area where artists were making their artistic magic, a board introduced them and their projects. You could watch them work, ask them questions, and in some cases, get autographs or signed giveaways.
In the “Disney Find Your Voice” section, guests could share their musical talents with Expo attendees. Details of this great Disney competition were published here on the WDW Radio blog. You can click here for more information.
Another very popular section of the Consumer Products section of the show floor was the area where Disney animators taught attendees how to draw some of our favorite Disney characters!
It’s pretty clear to see that you could EASILY spend an entire day (or two!) just on the show floor without ever seeing a panel or presentation… and we’re not done yet! Tomorrow we will show you more images from around the show floor!
