Top Tips to Get the Most Out of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and An Overlooked Halloween Experience – September 29, 2013

Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #337 for the week of September 29, 2013.

I love the fall in Walt Disney World, not just because of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival, but because it’s a great time and place to celebrate one of my favorite holidays – Halloween. This week, we’ll give you our Top Tips to get the most out of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom. Form attractions to special events, characters, merchandise, and of course, candy, we’ll help you maximize your time and experience. I’ll also share with you an often overlooked and FREE way to celebrate Halloween in Walt Disney World in a way (and place) you may never have gone to before.

I’ll have the answer to our last Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new challenge for your chance to win a Disney prize package.

Stay tuned as I’ll have some updates and announcements and more of your voicemails at the end of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.

  1. Sherry says:

Seeing the Headless Horseman ride down Main Street in the dark before the parade is alone worth the price of admission (please don’t tell Disney I said that).

  2. Chuck Zitta says:

My favorite part of MNSSHP would have to be the parade. Especially when the headless horseman takes a ride!

Other things I like about the party (in no particular order):

    1. The time of year. Love fall.
    2. Halloween is my birthday. So it’s candy, cake AND presents!
    3. Did I say trick or treating for candy? The trick or treat trail is awesome! Had to leave candy behind last time we did it, to come in under the weight limit on our luggage! LOL!!!
    4. BONUS: get to head over to Epcot for Food and Wine Festival during that time of year as well.

Thanks again for another spooktacular show, Lou and Suzanna!!!
