PPDC Enchanted Holiday Charger Plates 1Hi Everyone! I was walking around Michaels® the other day and came across some decorative chargers. I have come to really enjoy chargers for jazzing up my place settings. They are an easy, totally inexpensive way to make your plates look so festive.

For the past few weeks, we’ve discussed place cards, ornaments, and holiday decor. So keeping in theme, I want to show you a way to add a little Disney bling to chargers if you want to add them to your Christmas or New Years table.

Grab your favorite craft store coupons and let’s get started, together!

You’ll need:

  • 1 or more Celebrate It™ Christmas Decorative Charger(s) (I used a light blue one, so it can be used for multiple holidays)
  •  1 pack Recollections® Adhesive Rhinestones (I used #174703) or similar
  • 1 piece EK Success® Disney Dimensional Stickers: Princess Crown Gems (#51-00063)
  • 1 piece EK Success®Disney Dimensional Stickers: Mickey Heads (#DMHGS)
  • X-ACTO™ Knife
  • Craft Tweezers (optional)

Instructions:

Put your charger on your table, take your pack of adhesive rhinestones and guesstimate where you will adhere them on the charger. Now, open the pack of rhinestones and take a look at a design where you can seamlessly add a rhinestone Mickey Head and on another where where you can add a Princess Crown Gem. Take your X-ACTO knife and score out where you will add your Mickey and then score out where you will add your Crown.

PPDC Enchanted Holiday Charger Plates 3Carefully remove one of the the adhesive rhinestone designs and place it on the charger, keeping in mind your plate circumference and where you will line up your other design. Use your craft tweezers if one of the rhinestones falls away from the adhesive. Line up the Mickey Head with where you scored out the design of the rhinestones and embed it within them on to the charger. Here, I used the clear Mickey, but the black one could work just as well. (If you choose to use a red or green charger, the red Mickey would work perfectly.)

Carefully remove another of the the adhesive rhinestone designs and place that on the charger, keeping in mind your plate circumference and where you lined up the other design. Again, use your craft tweezers if one of the rhinestones falls away from the adhesive. Now, line up the Crown Gem with where imagePPDC Enchanted Holiday Charger Plates 2you scored out the design of the other rhinestones and embed it within them on to the charger. Here, I used the blue crown. (But the green crown would work perfectly if you choose to use a green charger.)

Use my photos as a guide if you can’t see where you can add the Mickey Head or a Princess Crown Gem.

When you are finished, store these chargers until you need to use them.

When it’s time to set your table, grab your new, Disney blinged charger(s), then place your plates on top of them. And that’s it!

Enjoy your day and Have an Enchanted Holiday!
