For the gentleman with the fearful potty goer… I was in your shoes once and of course one Cast Member saved the vacation! My daughter (now 18!) was afraid of the auto flush and I was not interested in going back to the room for every potty break. I was directed to the Baby Care Center in the Magic Kingdom (AWSOME place!) and was given MM stickers for my daughter to use over the sensors! My daughter was empowered! I believe it led to extra bathroom visits that week!

My suggestion for the guy looking for a relaxing time with the wife outside of the parks would be to replicate something like I did on my honeymoon a few years back. We planned a day out of the parks, started off with renting the little speed boats at the Grand Floridian after breakfast.. Spend some time exploring bay lake and go over to the Ft Wilderness area too. Then go back to the pool, do some swimming, read a book, ipod in a lounge chair, etc.. Then go for an afternoon spa appointment, relaxing massage. (also at Grand Floridan).. head back to the room, shower up and finish the day off with dinner at Victoria and Alberts.. My perfect day outside of the parks. You cant go wrong.

For families/groups of people going and staying at different resorts and relying solely on Disney transportation to get places–My husband and I were at WDW this past fall with our daughter and In-laws. We stayed at Coronado Springs, they stayed at Fort Wilderness. We found trying to get from resort-to-resort took a lot of time (way more than you would think) because there are no direct routes. We had to go to one of parks from our resort and then catch the bus to the their resort. It always ended up taking at least an hour to get from door-to-door. We even asked a cast member if there was a faster way to do it, but he said no.

For a relaxing day I suggest first off sleeping in. then plan a Spa treatment in the afternoon. After you fill of relaxing, tour the Grand Floridian or Swan and Dolphin grounds. Afterwards go to the Polynesian for Dinner at Kona Cafe topped off with a Lapu Lapu and catching Wishes on the beach

My daughter was and is (7) very against auto-flush for the record !!! I went to the hardware store and picked up a big ol’ bag of those little orange squishy earplugs. She loves ’em and we bring a bunch everywhere !

OK….my wife puts them in her pocketbook but I do keep a bunch in zip lock bags in the car ! 🙂 Works like a charm

    Relaxing day with no budget:
Sleep in; order room service for breakfast in bed; either spa appointment at Grand Floridian or 9 holes of golf; lunch at Kona Cafe; back to your resort room for a nap; go for a swim at the pool; cocktails at Narcoossee’s; dinner at Victoria & Albert’s; charter the Grand 1 for an hour or two and catch Wishes; nightcap at the California Grill lounge.

A face to face with Beci to do a little Q & A. Nice! Now she can just reach over and smack you if you get out of hand. LOL!!!

The group of 50??? Now there’s a challenge for Beci. Pretty cool.

Agree with the teenager discussion. We have 2 teenage boys. Stayed at Beach Club. Perfect.

I have to say, we have never had a “date night” at WDW. All the years we have visited, we have always been 100% committed to our kids. Which we enjoyed every minute of. Not saying that one way is better than the other. That’s just what made us happiest.

Thanks again for another fantastic and informative show, Lou and Beci!!!
