Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #349 for the week of February 2, 2014.

This week we’l celebrate the 7th Anniversary of WDW Radio with a live recording taken during last week’s event. We’ll reminisce about our favorite segments, interviews, moments, events and more, and talk about where we’ve been and what may be next.

I’ll have the answer to our last Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new challenge for your chance to win a Disney prize package.

Stay tuned as I’ll have some updates and announcements and more of your voicemails at the end of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.

Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in next week!

Congrats on 7 years, Lou! Thanks for the memories and adding a little Disney to my workday. You have helped me plan my Disneymoon, inspired me to run in my first Run Disney race, given me access to learn so much about Disney, and made me proud to be the Disney nerd that I am (:

Just finished listening to the 7th Anniversary podcast and loved it. Your podcast is my entertainment when doing housework. My favourite podcasts are restaurant reviews and when you bring Jim Korkis along to tell stories as you walk around the parks. I don’t get a chance to make it to many events so I loved when you came to Toronto and had a meet there. It is on my bucket list to make it to a WDWRadio event but until then listening and watching your newscasts, podcasts, and 40hour events will keep giving me my WDW fix. Thanks for the memories…keep them coming!

Loved the show Lou, been a big fan since the days of Mouse tunes! Doing my first Run Disney event in a few weeks….your podcasts on the run disney events and the videos have motivated me. Look forwards to more shows in 2014!

Best event ever – This has to be the Meet and Greet in the UK. Obviously I used my Jules Verne time machine to travel back and post this. Hope to see you over here soon.

  8. Ron says:

Congrats, Lou! Seven years of celebrating the magic, and spreading the joy with fans around the world!

  9. Devan says:

I loved this show because, if anything, it showed how passionate you truly are about this podcast and reaching out to those that want to share in the Disney magic. I was a little sad, however, that no mention was made of Jeff Pepper. I’ve been listening for about a year and I’m trying to catch up on old episodes while listening to the new–and Jeff was a huge part of the beginning of the show. I constantly wonder what’s happened to him and why he doesn’t contribute more! But congrats on 7 years, Lou and here’s to MANY more!
