I’m here to help you have the best possible Disney vacation experience, and bring you some Disney magic to wherever you are with this podcast, as well as my Disney in a Minute videos, blog, live broadcasts, events, trivia books, CDs and more. You can find it all at WDWRadio.com.

I’m going to open up the inbox this week and answer more of your listener emails. Topics this week include the history of attraction changes in Tomorrowland, spending a year in Walt Disney World, anniversary ideas, staying on board versus going ashore on the Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland hotels comparison, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – is it really a 2-day park?

I’ll have the answer to our last Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new challenge for your chance to win a Disney prize package.

Stay tuned as I’ll have some updates and announcements, including information about our next WDW Radio Meet of the Month in Walt Disney World. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.

Thanks for yet again shining the light on what a great park Animal Kingdom truly is. In fact, it vies for my favorite park (that or DHS- depending on the day :)) I love the simple beauty of it all- getting a Safari Amber (specifically made for the park) and strolling through the Majahara Jungle Trek, cooling off at the bar in Yak and Yet while enjoying the lettuce wraps and plush barstools, or taking the meandering ‘hidden’ path between Asia and Africa are just a few of my favorites. Oh, and the noodle salad at Bradley Falls kiosk (where’d the summer rolls go?!). And Dawa Bar. I could go on…

  2. Dee Dee McG says:

Excellent question, Carl! My lottery fantasy is to win the jackpot, then move to Disney. I would start in Disneyland than resort hop around WDW for a year. Then it’s off to Tokyo, Paris, etc. I would also sprinkle in some Disney Cruises, visits to Broadway shows and some Adventures By Disney as well. I would never have to live in the real world again! :-)

  3. Ana K says:

When we lived in Winter Garden we used to go to AK and spend most of the day in the Dino play area and dig yard. I’d bring a book, find a place near the exit, and let the kids play. They’d be there for hours happily. Sometimes we’d also catch a Lion King show, but not always.

  4. Nicole N. says:

In response, Lou, to your question about what might be our favorite attraction at Animal Kingdom:

My husband and I JUST discovered the Finding Nemo Musical, and we were totally blown away and enchanted by it. As far as thrill rides go, Everest will always win (of course!), but the musical has definitely found its place in my heart as one of the most magical experiences at that park. :)

  5. Jared B says:

I really enjoyed this show. It was a lot of fun to listen to! Looking forward to buying Disney 102 when it arrives in the Kindle Store!

  6. Lisa S. (elbug10) says:

I LOVE the idea of staying at WDW for a year. But I thought I heard somewhere that there are laws against this? That you can stay for awhile but if you stay too long, you’re considered a resident and would get voting rights and Disney won’t allow that? Or is that only if you stayed at one resort and if you check out and check back into different resorts does it get around this limit?

  7. Kelly says:

Animal Kingdom is our favorite park. Favorite attraction goes between Expedition Everest and Kilamajaro Safari. We love just walking around and seeing the animals and enjoying the landscaping.
