Adventure Into The World of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy: Disney Tip #47

AdventureEaster is right around the corner!

This weekend, Walt Disney World® will be taking part in the holiday festivities throughout the parks and resorts.

If you happen to be in Walt Disney World®, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some Easter Disney magic.

Magic Kingdom® Park:

-As you enter the park in the Town Square area, there will be a “meet and greet” with the Easter Bunny from [9:00] AM to [6:00] PM, April 13-20. Magic Kingdom® Park admission is required and PhotoPass photographers will be available.

-This year, the Easter Bunny will make a special pre-parade appearance on April 19-20. He will be joined with various springtime characters, dancers and the Azalea Trail Maids.

Epcot®:

-Egg hunt! This year, search for hidden Disney character “eggs” throughout World Showcase. Purchase a map and stickers for $4.95, and see how many you can locate. Place a sticker on the locations you find the eggs, and when your map is complete, turn it into Disney Traders for a special surprise!

Maps are available for purchase from the following locations:

  • Heritage Manor (American Adventure Pavilion)
  • Disney Traders
  • International Gateway
  • Pin Central
  • Port of Entry

Walt Disney World® Resorts:

-Be sure to check with your resort’s front desk to see which activities are taking place! Many resorts are offering egg hunts, egg decorating, characters in Easter costumes, etc.

-Pastry chefs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, have created and designed large edible eggs on display that guests can view in the lobby from April 4-22.

How many of you have been at Walt Disney World® for Easter? What is your favorite activity to participate in? Comment below!
