AdventureLike many things, one of my favorite activities to take part in at Walt Disney World® is dining at the wonderful restaurants they provide.

A frequent problem many of us seem to face though is getting a reservation. Restaurants such as Le Cellier Steakhouse at Epcot® and Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom® Park, fill up weeks and sometimes months in advanced with reservations, leaving those who did not have enough time to plan, without one.

But fear not because when you enter a park or restaurant at Downtown Disney®, make your way to guest relations or the hostess stand of the restaurant you wish to dine at and see what reservations they have available for that day and night.

Your chances of getting a reservation improve if you choose to eat at an off-peak time such as 11:30 a.m. for lunch or 4 p.m. for dinner. Occasionally, some guests will make same-day cancellations as well, so make sure to check!

How many of you have been able to get same-day reservations at one of your favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World®? Comment below!

I have yet to get same day reservations. I’ve tried about four times, perhaps five times is a charm lol.

    Have a great day!

We were getting hungry around 5:00 one evening because we had had a delicious breakfast buffet at Boma in Animal Kingdom Resort that morning and skipped lunch. We walked into Coral Reef at Epcot and asked if they had any availability and they said they would in 10 minutes! How great was that!

My family and I have been lucky enough to walk up to the hostess stand at the Crystal Palace & at Chef Mickey and have a table available. It never hurts to give it a try.
