DCL CraftsHi Everyone! A few weeks ago, I made up a list of craft offerings at your Walt Disney World Resort®. I just came back from a relaxing trip on the (newly Re-Imagineered™) Disney Magic, so, I thought it would be fun to share just a few of the craft offerings on the Disney Cruise Line®, too…especially for those of you starting to plan your own WDW Radio cruise(s).

These crafts are usually no more than 30-45 minutes in length and a great way to unwind in addition to relaxing by the pool, the beach or on the AquaDuck or AquaDunk.

Adult Crafts (18+ and 21+)

  • Anyone Can Cook©
  • Beverage Tasting Seminars (often the bartenders will discuss DIY drink recipes)
  • Button Making (shown in my photo)
  • Disney Animation: Creating a Character
  • Disney’s Art of Entertaining
  • DIY Spa Treatments (Senses Spa)
  • Door Hangers
  • Rotating Family Crafts
  • Scrapbooking
  • Tote Bags
  • Towel Folding

Kid Crafts (under 18)

  • Anyone Can Cook©
  • Button Making
  • Coloring
  • Digital Postcards
  • Disney Animation: Creating a Character
  • DIY Spa Treatments
  • Door Hangers
  • Flubber
  • Ice Cream Social
  • Masks
  • Origami
  • Paper Airplane Making
  • Puppet Making
  • Rotating Family Crafts
  • Rotating Pirate Crafts (for the Pirates IN the Caribbean Party)
  • Super Sloppy Science
  • Tote Bags

Like while at the Walt Disney World Resort®, I really enjoy these Disney Cruise Line® crafts while I’m relaxing on board. I hope you will, too. Remember, these are only a sample of what is offered.

And stay tuned for more ways to craft unique souvenirs while on your Disney trips.

Enjoy your day and sail away!

*On a side note, one of my favorite things about my cruise was using the Disney Cruise Navigator app (on both iPhone and Android). This fabulous app is a digital version of the daily events, activity and location grids called a “Personal Navigator”. Except for the fun trip countdown clock, you can’t use the full app until you are on the ship. But once you are on board, you’ll be able to discover and keep track of all your craft-ortunities, as well as other activities, right on your phone. (Disney Cruise Line® guides you through how to use the app for free once at sea).*

When you only have a few moments a week to craft or don’t even know where to begin, Fran Cassano invites you to capture your memories through Practically Perfect Disney Crafting… Break out those tools that have been gathering dust. And let’s figure out how, together!
