Disney Girl: Going Back to School…Disney Style!

Hi everyone, it’s Ruby again. Today we are going to be talking about…. BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING *DUN DUN DUN*!!! But don’t worry, this is going to be different and fun… we’re going to be shopping Disney Style! If you’ve never been shopping for school stuff Disney style, OR have never been Disney style shopping  ever, *WARNING* this is a whole new way of experiencing the process. Even though the end of Summer can be disappointing, it can also be fun getting ready for the new school year. Please enjoy, and I hope this post helps!

CLOTHES

Ruby 3Ruby 2First I want to talk about clothes! A very important part of back to school shopping is finding your new wardrobe! The Children’s Place has some Disney t-Shirts for $10.00 with characters like Minnie, Tinkerbell and more! That sale is on till Sept. 1st. Justice® has really cool Frozen crop tops and t-shirts, but they are little bit more on the pricey side. ($18-$25)

Now if you stroll on down to Kohl’s®, you can check out their D-Signed collection! For those who don’t know what D-Signed is, it’s a clothing line for girls that is based off of various Disney Channel characters! They used to be sold at Target, but now they’re only available at Kohl’s®.  Their newest release is based off the characters Riley Matthews and Maya Heart from Girl Meets World. Well, I was very excited about that, so I decided to check it out for myself!

Ruby 5Ruby 6Ruby 7One thing you should know is that this is expensive clothing! So anyway, my favorite things available in this collection are the dresses. They’re very trendy! I liked the leggings that they supplied, too. They also had cute shirts and a skirt or two.  They even had bags there! If your child is between the ages of 6 and 13, 0r maybe even a little older, they will LOVE this line of clothing!

SUPPLIES

Ruby 4Of course now we have to get to the more practical stuff… school supplies. Stop and Shop has 3-D lunch boxes (More on the girly side) from the prices $8.99-$9.99. Kohl’s® had Disney lunch boxes as well.

The Children’s Place is having a sale till Sept. 1st on backpacks! They are cute and only 12.95!

Ruby 1Places like ShopRite, Stop and Shop, Target, Michaels and Staples® are great for anything back-to-school related, and you’re always bound to find something Disney in there. (Oh and how could I forget to mention the Disney Store?!?) You could get notebooks, pencils, folders and even bags that represent your favorite Disney characters colors! Maybe make a school planner using the same guidlines as this journal in my past post.  You could even go Disneybounding! Be creative, and let out your inner Disney Side this school year!

So how do you show your Disney-Side when you prepare for back to school season? Do you like Disney Style shopping or D-Signed? Did this post help? If you have any ideas, crafts, tips, questions or anything else related to today’s subject you’d like to share, tell me in the comments below!

Thanks for listening and have a magical day! – Ruby 8:)

Ruby is a twelve year old Disney fan, and she credits her mom with starting her early love of Disney. In addition to her enthusiasm for Disney, Ruby enjoys singing and writing. She will be reviewing Disney-related topics that are of interest to younger Disney fans—and their parents and grandparents!
