parking - loren javier, flickrFor this week, Disney Tip #98, let’s head over to the parking lots on Walt Disney World property.

One thing that has saved me over the years parking at one of the parks, Downtown Disney, or a water park is taking out my camera.

As most of you know, parking at Disney can become very crowded, and by the end of the night, you may have a difficult time remembering where you parked.

Before you leave your car and head to wherever you are located, take a picture of the section you are parked in. Each row of parking will have a marker, indicated by a character and a number for that specific row.

This way you will not be walking laps around the parking lots looking for your car after a long day.

Great idea! The one time we had a rental car, we brought a car flag with us to attach to the vehicle and make it easy to spot.

We are from Western Canada and we always rent a car when we come down to WDW, we bring a car flag from our local football team in our suitcase, it makes finding the car super easy and you’re also representing our team down in Florida, it’s also amazing how many people comment or recognize the flag being we are from so far away!

Good idea and don’t bother using those Find My Car apps. They take more time to use than going into your photo album, and may just drain your battery more.

Suzanne, that is a great idea! Thanks for reading!

Chris, that is awesome! It is always fun representing your team at WDW. Thanks for reading!

Jason, I agree. Thanks for reading!

We always take a picture of the row we parked on. We also send it to another phone. That way if something happens to one phone, you have a backup!

Angie, that is very smart! A great tip to add. Thanks for reading!

We always take pictures of the row with both our phones so if something happens to one we have backups(our phones also automatically backup to Microsoft One Drive so we can access the pictures from another person’s phone or computer if needed lol… It is funny though ever sense we have started doing this we never even need to look at the pictures because even 12 hours later we always remember… I also have a iOS app called “Spyglass” which lets you set a GPS flag for where your car is and it uses augmented reality to show you where to go to get to your car. It’s been useful a few times when there aren’t row markers in parking lots but at Disney we don’t really look at it much…
