  1. Buck says:

Why did you choose a winner in the podcast 410 drawing before the entry deadline? Podcast 411 is out!

  2. Suzanne Sevier says:

La Cantina is definitely high on my list – I dreamt of those nachos for months before our most recent trip! We tried Katsura Grill this time, and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Yorkshire County Fish Shop has always been a favorite as well. I can’t choose just one!

  3. Cristabel says:

I love and hate live restaurant reviews because now I’m hungry!
And to answer your question: It’s not that I dislike Mexican food but when I go to WS, I try to eat stuff that I don’t normally eat. Living in California, and being half Mexican, I have my fair share of Mexican food. That being said, those cheese empanadas sound AMAZING. Also it is good to know that they have Jarritos, since my brother-in-law loves them.

  4. Angela Popp says:

La Cantina is AWESOME!!!! The nachos and margaritas are my favorite!!! This is my favorite counter service restaurant in World Showcase.

  5. Ana Kurland says:

We always stop there because our kids love the cheese empanadas. I didn’t realize the tacos were good, but I’ll try them next time.

Big Fat Panda – I’m with you on the Barbosa connection!

  7. Lisa Styczynski says:

Ate at La Cantina’s and had the loaded nachos. We ate on a garbage can to watch illuminations. Huge portions and really good. Plus who doesn’t love eating on top of a garbage can to watch the evening show.

  8. Roy Van Atta says:

La Cantina is usually a little disappointing. Food seems way too mass produced. The new Churros are terrible. We love Mexican food so we keep giving it another chance. However, we’re normally underwhelmed with the experience. I do think of Barbosa every time I see that on the menu!

  9. Chuck Zitta says:

Yes, the birds do indeed like La Cantina. Last time we had lunch there, they were lined up for handouts. It’s been a few years, so can’t recall exactly what we had to eat. Now I’m craving Mexican food. Thanks! LOL!!!

If I had to choose just one counter service restaurant in World Showcase, it would probably be Katsura Grille. Love the atmosphere. So relaxing. I think I had some sort of Curry noodle dish for lunch on the final day of our last trip?. Was it the Japanese Curry Udon? Can’t remember. Anyway, it was delicious, whatever I had. Not your typical lunch food. A close second may have to be Summerfest in Germany. Brat’s and a Beer. Doesn’t get much better then that for a quick bite to eat.

Thanks again for another appetizing show, Lou and Panda!!!
