Listen to the Show

We are often so busy rushing between attractions that we sometime forget that we’re on vacation when we visit Walt Disney World. Sometimes, you are so consumed with trying to see it all, that you miss more than you should. And because of that, many experiences (especially those outside the parks), are either overlooked, or, in the case of this week’s show, are one that you might not even know exist. So I invite you to join me as we take a step through time within the walls of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, for a special treat and memorable experience, as we will sample a cherished tradition of British refinement with Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room.

Oh, it’s another wonderful show with Emma from the UK! Yes, listening to her voice is most enjoyable. Got a kick out of Lou’s description of the tea cozy. Milk or no milk, strong tea, weak tea, breakfast tea, cheshire tea and eating flowers? And your best English accent to boot! How about a Mad Hatter tea party for a get together! Clotted cream, the little swan? Too much. I gotta tell ya, this is very, very entertaining to listen to. Eating the “English Way” 101. I think Lou learned a lot during this experience; me too! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed listening to this podcast. Gotta be in my top 5, for food reviews. So much more than just Afternoon Tea. Fabulous show, Lou and Emma! Spot on! Thank you!!!

I apologize ahead of time, if I spelled your name incorrectly, Emma.

Would this be the show notes section? Answer to this weeks question is The Grand Floridian! My dad made me watch the video repeatedly! lol!

Sounds like Lou was using his best “inside voice” for this episode.

Wonderful review! We’ve been wanting to do this for such a long time yet still don’t make the time for it. I think now it’s a must! My kids loved it just as much as me 😉 How perfect to have a Brit along for wonderful commentary as well. Thanks Emma! and Lou for another great show!

I did afternoon tea at the Grand Floridan last February and cannot wait to do it again! It is so elegant and delicious. I have a huge sweet tooth, so all the food here was right up my alley. Because of my experience here I started baking at home scones and after our office breakfast on Friday a coworker told me my scones made her day! I was dying in my car listening to this podcast, I wanted the food so bad! Hopefully I’ll be back this December with my mother-in-law.

Question about tea in the Grand Floridian: are you able to get tea from the Tea Room or another dining location to sip out in the lobby?
