All great relationships have a “falling in love” story. Some start with a grand gesture. Others happen gradually over the course of getting to know one another. While all members of the WDW Radio family are at differing stages in life’s journey and may or may not have found that special person to spend life with, they all have one thing in common: a love for Walt Disney World. But, when did that love begin?

In celebration of Walt Disney World’s 45th Anniversary, the WDW Radio Blog Team members are sharing their Walt Disney World “love stories” about the moment they became lifelong fans. Beginning today, October 1, 2016, you will find memories, magic and more as you read our stories.  Join us as we pay tribute to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”

My first visit was July 1976 during the Bicential and sparked a love for Walt Disney World that continues to grow deeper as many more visits, including our Disney wedding at the Yacht Club 10 years ago. As we all know, some people don’t understand our passion for everything Disney but I would have it no other way. I cry when we see that Magical entrance and again the day we leave and count down to the day we return. I am so thankful for Walt Disney and those that continue to keep his magic and dreams alive.
