WDW Tip of the Week – Military Discounts

Walt Disney World has some awesome discounts for members of the United States Military and their families. Today, I want to highlight two of these discounts that you may not have known about.

The first is a discount on the parties held at Magic Kingdom Park: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. In order to purchase these discounted tickets, you must meet the same eligibility requirements as the Disney Armed Forces Salute program. The tickets must be purchased in person. Because of this, Disney will allow you to purchase tickets even if the event is considered to be sold out for that night. Tickets may be purchased at any Walt Disney World Guest Relations location or at Shades of Green Resort.

The available dates and prices for military discounted tickets for Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party are:
August 25 and 29, September 1, 7, 10, 12, 17, and 24
Adults – $53.25 + tax
Children – $49.75 + tax

The available dates and prices for military discounted tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are:
November 9, 12, 14, and 16
Adults – $64.25 + tax
Children – $60.75 + tax

The other discount is for Memory Maker. Eligible Service Members may purchase Memory Maker for a discounted price of $84. This purchase must be made at Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows, and is activated immediately.
