Trader Sam's Grog Grotto

Next time you find yourself in Walt Disney World, do yourself a favor and make sure a visit to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is on the top of your to-do list. I finally had the opportunity to visit this tropical watering hole, and it was easily the highlight of my trip. Words can not quite express the shear wonderment felt after opening the bar’s monocolored door, which is found in an unassuming, rather generic, resort hallway. Who could possibly imagine the incredible sensory wonderland found behind this door? A true feast for the senses, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto showcases Disney Imagineering at it’s finest. There are attraction props, pictures, clever inside jokes, and visual Easter eggs everywhere! Obviously, I could wax poetic about my new favorite hang out (maybe in a future post?), but I know that’s not why you’re here. So, let’s “dive” right into this weeks (sunken) trivia treasure!!
