C. 3 – While the Beach Club and Yacht Club are considered two separate resorts, they do share multiple amenities. The resorts share the large Storm Along Bay pool area, a few eateries, and a small business center. At roughly 73,000 square feet, the business center is home to three separate convention halls. Keeping with the beach and boating theme, the convention halls are aptly named the Grand Harbor, the Asbury, and the Cape Cod Hall.

3. Which architectural style does the Beach Club Resort’s building emulate?
A. Wicker Style Design
B. Shell Style Design
C. Stick Style Design – A popular architectural design style in America, the Stick Style design is hallmarked by an allusion to timber framing, framed windows, and paneled facades. (This is a very brief description – the Painted Ladies in San Francisco are a great example of a Victorian Stick Style design). Designed by famed architect Robert A. Stern, the Stick Style design is utilized to represent the New England cottages from the 1860s-1870s. The buildings of the Beach Club are painted light blues with white accents while the soft spoken seashell motif represents the beach. The lobby continues to provide an air of an ocean front cottage with white washed wooden accents, white and cream wicker, pristine light hard wood floors, and high open ceilings.

4. How many times have the rooms at the Beach Club Resort been renovated?
A. 2 – The rooms at the Beach Club Resort have been renovated a total of 2 times. First renovated in 2009, the Beach Club rooms were renovated again six years later. This renovation process lasted a full year from 2015 to 2016. During this renovation, the hallways were repainted and papered, new carpets were placed throughout, the room doors were replaced, the walls inside the rooms were repainted, and all the furnishings were refreshed. Currently, the rooms are painted in a pastel pallete complete with fixtures and beach artwork that evoke relaxed summer days.
