For as long as I can remember, my oldest daughter Mabel has always wanted to be a Disney Princess. She grew up watching the Disney princess animated classics, loved dressing up as a princess, and even performed in high school productions of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and The Beast. So what better Christmas gift than to give my 18 year old daughter the one dream she has wished for her whole life? A “My Storybook Moment – Princess” gift from Disney Floral and Gifts!

As children get older it is often hard to find the right gift at the holidays, and this gift worked perfectly with our plans to travel to Walt Disney World Resort in late December. I had purchased the gift online and made arrangements to have it delivered to our room at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort after our arrival. On our second night, there it was sitting on the coffee table – a pretty pink package with her name on it. Watching her eyes light up as she opened the gift was as magical as I thought it would be. Of course, I was the only one in the family that knew about this gift, so it was fun seeing everyone else’s reactions as well. Inside the cute pink princess tote bag was an invitation to become proclaimed a princess, a satin bag containing a little tiara, a pink princess sash, and a folio with a personalized proclamation.

My daughter’s favorite princess is Princess Anna of Arendelle. So, off to the Royal Sommerhus at the Norway Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot we went. To my surprise, the Cast Members at the Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet did not know anything about this special gift from Disney Floral and Gifts, so we had to explain it several times. When my daughter met Anna it was a very enchanting moment. Anna was excited to proclaim Mabel a Disney Princess. It was fun to watch the two of them talk about Arendelle and what it is like being a princess.

If you are looking for a special gift for the princess in your life, I highly recommend this experience. Please let me know in the comments below if you have experienced the “My Storybook Moment – Princess” gift.
