WDW Tip of the Week: Why Wait in Line for Dole Whip?

After about five hours in the busy Magic Kingdom, dodging errant strollers, squeezing through crowds, and melting under the bright Florida sun there is only one refreshment I crave to help me cool off – a pineapply Dole Whip. Heralded by some as the nectar of the Disney gods, this frozen, delicious treat has been a staple of my Walt Disney World vacations for over twenty years.

My magical vacation is not complete without a cup of sweet tropical nostalgia! And judging by the lines, I’m not the only Disney Nerd who feels this way. It appears  Dole Whip has become increasingly popular and rarely will there not be a line four people deep at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom. But who wants to wait in that line when there are so many adventures calling to you in the seven lands of the kingdom!?

(See my previous blog post for step by step order instructions!) After using this feature recently at Aloha Isle, I have seen the light and drunk the pineapple flavored kool-aid. This is the way to go!  I placed my order after stepping up to Aloha Isle and within minutes had my sugary sweet while the “stand-by” line barely moved.

So, next time you need a little pick me up to help you face the next onslaught of crowds and strollers, head on over to Aloha Isle, order on your phone, and get your tropical treat without the wait.
