WDW Tip of the Week: Getting Ready for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

So you’re getting ready to go to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge soon because it’s about to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and you want to know how to build that anticipation.

Or, perhaps you’re like me, and a trip to the World isn’t for a while, and you want something to help tide you over. Here are some ways you can get your Galaxy’s Edge fix when you’re not in the parks.

The Movies:
Really, you can watch any of the movies (though some are more worth your time than others), but since this story is set during the time of the First Order and the Resistance, I suggest watching Episodes VII and VIII though you can never go wrong with the original trilogy either.

The Books:
Lucasfilm Press has two books that just released earlier this month that take place on the planet of Batuu, which is where you’ll go when you take your own trip—Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: A Crash of Fate by Zoraida Córdova and Star Wars: Myths & Fables by George Mann.

If that’s not enough, Del Rey Books has a book coming out this week called Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire by Delilah S. Lawson and if THAT’S not enough Marvel has been publishing a miniseries of Star Wars comics called, you guessed it, Galaxy’s Edge. The individual issues are out now and the trade paperback is coming out in October.

The Music:
The soundtrack for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is on iTunes. Need I say more? Yes? Ok, it’s composed by John Williams.

There are lots of ways to get excited for your trip to Batuu (or console yourself while you continue waiting) and I’m sure I missed some.

How are you getting excited about Galaxy’s Edge?
