WDW Tip of the Week: Dear Santa Claus…

alt="children writing letters to Santa Claus at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at the Magic Kingdom."

At Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, the holidays are a year-round event. But at Christmastime, tucked in a Shoppe window nook, you will find something special—something that clearly says, “Santa Claus is coming to town—SOON”!

If your holiday plans include a visit to Walt Disney World, and if there are children in your travel group, stop by Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe where they can write and mail a letter to Santa. The Shoppe provides everything they need to write their letter—a letter template, a box of crayons, and a “Letters to Santa” mailbox. Kids naughty and nice can put their hopes and dreams for the holidays in a letter and pop it in the box!

Where do the letters go? Cast Members will tell you that the letters are picked up by Santa Claus at the Shoppe after each Magic Kingdom holiday parade and carried off to the North Pole.

The holiday season at Walt Disney World is always special. And with the assistance of Santa Claus and Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, the annual Disney holiday celebration has that extra dash of magic.
