Disney Cruise Line Questions, Marvel Contest, Event info and more!

Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #274 for the week of May 13, 2012. Whether you’re a mom, mom to be, or just share some motherly advice, I hope you have a very Happy Mother’s Day
With the WDW Radio group cruise on the Disney Dream coming up in November, we’re opening up the inbox this week to answer your questions about not only our cruise, but cruising on the Disney Cruise Line in general. From pre and post-stays in Walt Disney World to getting to Port Canaveral and what to do once you’re there, dress code on board, things to do in port and on Castaway Cay, Richard Sherman, best places to get snacks on board the Disney Dream, kids clubs, excursions and much, much more. Whether you’re joining us on the cruise in November (and yes, there’s still time to book), are a first-time cruiser or have been on the Disney Cruise Line in the past, there’s something here for everyone.
I’ll have the answer and winner for last week’s Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new one for your chance to win a special prize for fans of Marvel’s The Avengers.
I’ll then have a few quick announcements, including information about the next WDW Radio Meet of the Month during Star Wars Weekends and how you can win some prizes if you join us throughout the day, our WDW Radio Meet in NYC in June, and our private dinner at the “American Adventurers Club.” I’ll then play more of your voicemails at the end of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.
Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in next week!

Star Wars Weekends returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World beginning May 18 and will once again be a destination event for Disney and Star Wars fans alike. Whether you’re 7 or 70 there is something for everyone, from celebrities, shows, parades, characters, merchandise and yes, even Star Wars-themed food. What’s New & Next: New Fantasyland, Art of Animation, Trivia Contest & more!

Hello and welcome to The WDW Radio Show – Your Walt Disney World Information Station. I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #272 for the week of April 29, 2012.
This past weekend, Disney welcomed in media and moms from around the world as they kicked off their summer season by giving us a closer look into “What’s New and What’s Next” at Walt Disney World. From their Summer to Remember media event to the third annual Social Media Moms conference and celebration, we were able to get a closer look at changes and additions coming to the parks and resorts. We also heard from Disney executives, Imagineers and celebrities and got sneak peeks “behind the curtain” at the New Fantasyland and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. We’ll recap the weekend’s events and announcements, and share our thoughts on what this summer (and beyond) will have in store for Walt Disney World fans and guests.
I’ll have the answer and winner for last week’s Walt Disney World Trivia Question of the Week, and pose a new one for your chance to win a Disney prize package.
I’ll then have a few announcements and share new information about ticket sales to our The 1st Annual WDW Radio E-Ticket Event: An Evening with the Secret Society of Historical American Adventurers before playing more of your voicemails at the end of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s episode of the WDW Radio Show.
