Dream Cruise Itinerary

All events, times and locations are subject to change – check your Navigator and WDWRadio Dream Cruise Schedule (provided at the WDW Radio Welcome Center when you embark) - More to come as we learn additional details from Disney!

February 12, 2011 – UPDATE

  1. Cruise documents were mailed today and should be arriving in your mailboxes soon (unless you made other arrangements). Be sure to inspect them carefully, as they include details, checklists, embarkation information and forms that may need to be completed. Also, be sure and go to http://DisneyCruiseLine.com and complete your online check-in. Have your reservation number handy!
  2. Those who booked in the pre-cruise land resort group and are participating in the group transfer and/or the dessert party, will receive final meet instructions from their vacation planner near the end of this week. If you are traveling early or have additional questions regarding your arrangements, please contact your vacation planner. If you made other arrangements, such as pre or post-cruise resort packages, etc. those documents will be mailed separately.
  3. At Port Canaveral, because people will be arriving at various times, and there is no single location that will accommodate our group size, we will try and congregate in the seating area on the right side of the terminal building
  4. The Itinerary (below) has been updated with new details! We have been working with Disney behind the scenes on trying to setup events, locations, times, etc. and certainly did not want to make promises or arrangements that we could not confirm.
  5. We cannot confirm with Disney at this time on what night “Pirate Night” will be, including the Pirate Party and Buccaneer Blast
  6. Once on board, you will see that there are countless activities taking place throughout the day and evening for adults, families, children and teens both individually and in groups. I have scanned in and posted SAMPLE Navigators (below) from the Maiden Voyage just to give a general idea as to some of the activities that take place daily. Because there is SO much to do on board the Disney Dream, we don’t want to conflict with so many of the fun activities and events going on that we will all have the opportunity to participate in! Remember, you can do as much or as little as you like to enjoy your cruise, whether it’s Bingo, dancing, the Spa, shopping, trivia, exploring the ship, sports, movies, the pool (AquaDuck!) or just relaxing on deck! Between what the Dream has to offer and our events, you’ll find that four days on board just isn’t enough! :) Check the sample Navigators for more information.

  8. We understand some people have been frustrated with the time involved to confirm exact meets and locations and we apologize for any inconvenience. However, much of the hesitation on our part has come from Disney being unable to give us solid confirmation of locations and times that will accommodate our group size, as well as not impede the experience of other guests traveling. For example, just this past Friday Disney informed us they are not able to accommodate everyone in the group for the “Goofy Games” on Castaway Cay as was planned. It is our intention to ensure that everyone have the opportunity to participate in group activities. Therefore, we have decided to schedule a few fun meets on our own on Castaway Cay so no one is excluded from participating if they so choose. Of course, everyone is welcome to participate in as much or as little as they like, as well as simply enjoy time participating in the many activities and events that Disney has planned for all guests.
  9. Be sure and check the WDW Radio FORUMS for many threads that you can participate in! It’s a great way to “meet” fellow cruisers before you get on board, and get many of your frequently asked questions answered.
  10. Only TWO WEEKS left until we sail!!! I can’t tell you how excited I am to meet and see all of you on board! It’s going to be AWESOME!!!!!
