Are Disney resorts really worth it?

Worth it, absolutely! No comaprison tot he convenience of being on property. The Disney magic never ends!

Have to agree - being part of the magic makes it all so much more fun. We wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

Our very first trip we stayed in Orlando. The next time we stayed on the hotel row... along Downtown Disney. They were considered "Disney" hotels at the time. The third trip we stayed on property (Carribean Beach) which we have done every time since using several different hotels based on availablity. It's total immersion. No driving, unless you want to. Great sevice. Good food. Nice rooms. Good theming in hotel. Ditto to what everyone else said previously.

Just talking about it....I WANNA GO NOW!

Unfortunately our trip is canceled. My parents are on the verge of splitting up.:( Doesn't matter anyway, not like my parents can afford a deluxe or moderate resort on their salary. Thanks for the input guys. Maybe in the future I can go sometime.:-[
