    Fireworks

    What was the name of the firework show at MK before Wishes? Was it Fantasy in the Sky? I'm too tired to try and research it. When did FitS run?

    From the trivia section of this site:

    "Wishes debuted at the Magic Kingdom on October 9, 2003, and was developed by Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, who were assigned to create a replacement for the 32-year-old Fantasy in the Sky fireworks."

    So if it was 32 years old in 2003... that means it was the only fireworks show up until that point. Wow... totally didn't know that.

    no, occasionally it gets shown for holidays like July 4th and New Years Eve, but Wishes! has replaced it as the nightly show.
