I couldn't believe it...Normally it seems like January is completely empty! We are still going down for the day on Sunday..just hope its not too crowded in the parks!!
I'll be there on Sunday, too! (Well, today, too) I'm taking 3 of my friends who haven't been since they were 8-- and they are so excited!

We are going mid march ( week of the 12 ), thank goodness we already have our rooms booked, but last year when we went in march it was not to crowded. Does anyone know if there is going to be larger crowd due to conventions, school breaks, etc. then? It sound like this year its going to be PACKED all year!

I noticed this too, I was trying to find a room for the weekend before presidents weekend online, and only saratoga springs and cornado springs were available. I am florida resident, and the prices were really expensive. I was shocked that it was almost sold out!

Feb before President's day weekend will be DEAD.

I've been in the parks once a week for the last 2 weeks (I'm making at least once a week trips now) and I have not waited longer than 10 minutes for anything. Both days I walked rihgt on any ride I wanted to in the Magic Kingdom. Also, we walked right on Soarin and Test Track. Basically, it isn't busy right now.

President's day weekend is an extremely busy weekend.

As for March, my spring break is always the first full week in March, it's the 5-9th this year. Last year during my spring break the parks were also empty. So early march shouldn't be that bad hopefully.

I just came back from MK 1/27..and it was insanley crowded..think 40 minute waits for Small World! I normally go around 1/18 (my bday) and have always found it empty..not so this weekend..We did, of course, have a blast but spent alot of time waiting. If any of you live near by and go when its dead PM me so i can try and visit the next day..i don't think i can handle the crowds again!

March 3rd and 4th is ESPN the weekend, so expect MGM to be a bit busier than the rest of the parks. This also means the rest of the parks might be slightly less crowded than they would be without it!

I'll be there, so if you're there... I may see you. It's the start of my spring break where I'm spending EVERY morning in the park of hopes of winning Cinderella's Castle Suite!

I am a teacher here in New York and all of the schools around here are closed the week of February 17th through the 25th. That is the only reason I am able to go that week. It is a yearly vacation for the schools up here.

As a FL resident I can tell you that the fact that they got a great response to the FL resident discount is very true. I took advantage of it as a matter of fact... but what I can tell you is that almost all FL residents book for weekends (because they can make a trip down without taking much time away from school or work). As a result finding rooms in any resort, even the Deluxe Resorts, is tough on the weekend.

Over a month ago I booked my trip for February and what I found was it was really easy to find a room at nearly every resort as long as it was for Monday-Thursday. Friday-Sundays are all booked up.

New Hampshire schools are out the last week of February as well just FYI for anyone trying to make plans.

It looks like the week before President's day will be the only week that there isn't something big going on (like the dance troop thing) and schools up North aren't out. Thank God that's when I'm going... I hope it's not too crazy but then again even on it's slowest day, Disney is busy.

I feel like a bad dude for not knowing but what is ESPN weekend?
and yea keep an eye out for me I'm 5'10 black hair, gotti, glasses, jeans, brown skin (cuban) and will be with my lovely girlfriend Jena.

Also I dunno if this matter but I know that in Feb the superbowl will be held down here in Florida (don't know if its Miami or Orlando or Jacksonvil) but maybe some guys cut a deal with the wife you know let me go to the superbowl and I'll take the kids to Disney for a week or something. Also Feb has V-day romantic get away for all. DOn't forget cheerleader/dance team confrences. Big in Feb. Lastly and sure the less i know about, Canadia has some holidays coming up I heard, dunno if its true but worth looking at.

(Well those are my 4 cents again sorry for all the grammar/speeling problems too tired to fix thanks for understanding)
