It is yummy, and it's served at Ohana's and the Luau every night. ;-)
Hi there everyone
So I have an inquiry about food in the Polynesian... A co-worker of mines husband works at a local bakery which delivers truckloads of bread to the Polynesian. When they have leftover bread, her husband lets her bring some to work. Today she graciously came in with Pineapple Coconut yeast bread which is absolutely delish! I'm wondering if anyone knows which restaurant serves this (morning or night). This is just out of curiousity, as anything Disney strikes my fancy. Anyone else out there have this bread before? It is so yummy! I've been told it tastes delicious toasted with cream cheese on it. Thanks for the help in advance!

From the AllEarsNet menus, it looks like the Pineapple Coconut bread is served at the Spirit of Aloha Luau, which is the dinner show held in Luau Cove. It is not listed as currently being served at 'Ohana, which is the restaurant in the Great Ceremonial House. They used to start your meal there greeting you with a loaf of some kind of pineapple bread as they escorted you to your seats, but I think I heard they had discontinued that last year when they made some changes to the menu.
Steve "Tikiman" would know - http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/index.html

Hmm this is all very interesting. It is mighty good I don't know why they would stop using it! From what I was told today, I don't think they discontinued it, but thanks for all the help!

Pat is correct about the fact that they used to serve it for dinner at Ohana, but they no longer do.At least not the last two times we've eaten there with the latest being June 06.
Ok thanks for clearing that upIt is sooo yummy I had some for breakfast this morning. It's nice to have a little piece of WDW in the morning haha. I have only eaten at the Kona Kafe in the Polynesian, so I suppose I'll have to try breakfast there to see if its there
Thanks again everyone.
