Haunted Mansion Christmas Update.

does anyone know if the do the christmas update to the haunted mansion at WDW. i know the do it at DL but i'm not sure about WDW.

The last news I heard was that WDW is not going to get the HM Christmas overlay. Disney doesn't want to spend the $$ for the overlay in the Florida park.

Disneyland attracts most of its visitors locally as opposed to WDW where the visitors come from all over the world. Disneyland figures they need to attract the locals and that's why they get the holiday overlays on their attractions.

As you might recall, this past year WDW didn't even get the holiday overlay at Country Bear Jamboree as they had since 1984. What a shame.

It's interesting that DL is more local and DW is tourist-oriented. You sure wouldn't know that reading all the return visitors from this forum. It's a shame that they don't do it anyway, even if there isn't a directly measurable marketing reason. It would still add to the experience and keep people coming back. I wonder what Walt would do?
