Character Autographs...?

I was driving into work this morning and about 6:30 am, I called to make sure Miss SMIG was getting ready for school, and that HollyLynne was up when I had a thought (NO JOKES... I have a least one good one a year... ), if I print out some of the character pictures that we took in September - will the Mickey, Minnie, etc sign them for me.

I haven't started my scrapbook yet and I think it would be a blast to have there photo's autographed...

Will they?

They will basically sign just about anything....other than clothes or items that you are wearing on your body.

At Disneyland, all the characters signed my "sweater" I got a plain white zipper up sweater and took it and had every character I met sign it!

And they did actually write on it while it was on me. They wrote on my back... I didn't think they'd do it either. I was about to take it off when the character always stopped me and just signed on my back... itw as weird.

But yes, characters do sign every and any thing.

I heard that Jafar will sign your book and throw it on the ground and walk away. Is this true? I just made my son an autograph book and I certainly don't want it ruined. We are going to disney in 6 weeks

I've had that happen with the Queen of Hearts and Jafar, but the books were never ruined and it is quite funny.

The autograph book is a soft cover with a disney collage- and I would hate to have all that effort get dirty or ripped- maybe the QoH and Jafar would be forgiving, or is that in their character traits to do such a thing?

They are also characters that are not always out for autographs, so in all these years of going we've only gotten their signatures twice. So there is a possibility that you won't even see them. But remember, they are villians, so evil abounds.

Just saw Jafar at MGM last week.... he didn't throw the book..... He is kinda scary though........ I wish they had MORE villians out signing too!

The villains (or any character for that matter) are never supposed to throw the book or do anything violent directed toward the guest. That Jafar was in a grumpy mood that day! Maybe, to make sure the villain isn't so overzealous, remind them that you adore them (they want your adoration more than anything, that's why they smile at you!) and could they please be careful because it is a special book. Good luck luring those villains out of their lair!

I cut strips of cardstock and attached them to each other by a ribbon so after they all signed them I could take the whole thing apart and mat them on each character's page. It looks very fun!
That way I didn't have to take a book apart and the paper is much better. I would be a little worried about having them sign actual photos. Some of them can't see very well and they might sign over their own face!
Good luck, though and I would be very interested to hear if you actually had them sign photos and how it turned out! I am always up for new scrapbook ideas.
